As the author presents, this gives cause to believe that the most basic natural laws (or laws) could easily give rise to the complexity of our world; subsequently, science should look for the simplest solutions in lieu of complex ones.

We've been looking for bugs, or trying to create them, that will convert cellulose directly to ethanol. Well, this fungus apparently goes straight to diesel! A huge win, now we need to figure out if it can fit into an industrial process.
